However, its performance on the hard compound track highlights a need for improvement in the car's setup. Ferrari, on the other hand, has shown promise with its SF-26, but it needs a new engine to truly compete. Aston Martin, unfortunately, has the worst car on the grid, with problems in ride quality, traction, braking, and high-speed performance. Alpine's inconsistent one-lap pace and McLaren's tyre-related issues are also noteworthy. Red Bull, despite its low expectations, has shown potential, but it needs more than just set-up work to truly compete. Overall, Barcelona's test has exposed some serious weaknesses, and it will be interesting to see how each team addresses these issues in the coming races.
